Create Smooth Text Effect In Photoshop

In this tutorial will discuss how to create text with a smooth effect. This effect will make the text look smooth and attractive. Quite easy so let's get started!.

Step 1
Create a new document with width 600px height 600px background color # 8d7195. Next add Filter - Noise - Add noise and set it as follows.

Step 2
Use the Horizontal Type Tool and write the word "Smooth". For the type I used the font Bickham Script Pro 205pt size color # e09cf4.

Step 3
The next step of text selection by pressing Ctrl and click on the text layer Smooth. Enable Channel layer and click the Create New Channel icon menu below.

Step 4
Press the Alt + Delete to give white color to the text.

Step 5
Make sure the text is still selected now we add a Gaussian Blur. Go to Filter - Blur - Gaussian Blur and enter a radius parameter values: 6px. Repeat this step three times the value of 3px, 2px, and 1px.

Step 6
Back to the layer menu right click on the layer: smooth  and select Rezterize Type. Now select the menu Filter - Render - Lighting and set as shown below.

Step 7
The next step in order to create smooth text, click the icon Lock transparent pixels and choose Filter - Blur - Gaussian Blur radius 4px input value.

Step 8
And the last step add a drop shadow layer style. And this is the final result. Well done.
